SHE…WHO SMILES !

28_classicart

Once she wanted to fly, once she wished to break free
Once she had dreams, that broke so easily

Sometimes why all colours fades away ? she asks
Reflecting the sorrow, the pain, she managed hiding perfectly

Some flowers are dead, she says
They may never grow, no matter how hard she tries

Some doors are locked, closed forever, she says
In sweet silence, she quietly checks the locks inside her heart

She never lets anyone see her past that
But the fire sometimes turns into ice

Open some curtains sometimes, let some wind come
Even in the blackest nights, the largest star always shines

There are moments, that make us fall
It’s from inside, we must rise, you will survive !

Secretly she always keeps her faith
One day she will open her eyes, seeing the world, herself, differently

There are moments, there are hard lessons, everyone sees
Not once but many times indeed, still you hold on !

No matter how hard, empty, or tired it feels
It’s a battle, a journey, that can’t be escaped

She opens her wounded wings & fly high in the sky
She cried & cried…but in the end see herself shine !

An Empty Page

“I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted.”

― Jack Kerouac

Our two natures; one wants to advance; the other wants to pull us back. The one we concentrate on and develop determines what we will become. Our each action is like a selecting and holding a web of life, each small decision, each choice is important. It makes one of these natures strong, everytime. Putting on weight. There is always choices to make and with that the direction of the road goes. It’s what life is about.

Some Point

“In life, at sometime or another we come to a point where all relationships cease—where there is only us and Allah. There are no parents, brother or sister, or any friend. Then we realise that there is no earth under us nor is there sky above, but only Allah who is supporting us in this emptiness. Then we realise our worth – it is not more than a grain of sand or the leaf of a plant. Then we realise our existence is only confined to our being. Our demise makes not a whit of difference to the world around us, nor to the scheme of things.”

Moving Water — Rumi

Something very deep & profound.

intellectualvoice's avatarintellectual voice Blog

When  you do things from your soul, you feel a river
moving in you, a joy.
When actions come from another section, the feeling
disappears.  Don’t let
others lead you.  They may be blind or, worse, vultures.
Reach for the rope
of God.  And what is that?  Putting aside self-will.
Because of willfulness
people sit in jail, the trapped bird’s wings are tied,
fish sizzle in the skillet.
The anger of police is willfulness.  You’ve seen a magistrate
inflict visible punishment.  Now
see the invisible.  If you could leave your selfishness, you
would see how you’ve
been torturing your soul.  We are born and live inside black water in a well.
How could we know what an open field of sunlight is? Don’t
insist on going where
you think you want to go.  Ask the way to the spring.  Your
living pieces will form
a harmony.  There is a moving…

Moment Of Truth

That moment in your life when you need to decide between light and darkness. You may tread the path that leads to light or, if you wish, take the path that ends in darkness.

Even in the light, one must watch one’s step to avoid stumbling;
once in the dark, it makes no difference whether one can or cannot see where one is going,

for the gloom darkens with every step till darkness becomes one’s destiny.

But sometimes in the dark, before the first misstep, one regrets the path taken and may want to turn back to that fork in the road of life where the journey began.
If one so wishes to take that path—
‘And indeed guidance is given to them who desire it.’

Feelings & Action

” Action seems to follow feeling, but really action and feeling go together; and by regulating the action, which is under the more direct control of the will, we can indirectly regulate the feeling, which is not. ”

~William James

Truth Of The Traveller

‎‎”Though I might travel afar, I will meet only what I carry
with me, for every man is a mirror. We see only ourselves
reflected in those around us. Their attitudes and actions are
only a reflection of our own. The whole world and its
condition has its counter parts within us all. Turn the gaze
inward. Correct yourself and your world will change.”

~ Kirsten Zambucka
