And what has he lost who has found God?”― Ibn ‘Ata’ Allah Al-Iskandari

Sail To New Wonders :)
“I thought that my voyage had come to its end
at the last limit of my power,
that the path before me was closed,
that provisions were exhausted,
and the time come to take shelter
in a silent obscurity,
but I find that thy will knows no end in me,
and when old words die out on the tongue,
new melodies break forth from the heart,
and where the old tracks are lost,
new country is revealed with its wonders.”
~ Rabindranath Tagore
Zikar
I have traveled a thousand miles in search of something
people call “PEACE OF HEART”
I listened to thousand songs in finding the voice
that calls my soul.
Everyday my heart does not rest, it beats hard for something
that was not there.
I had everything around me, but my own self went missing.
In the fast crowd, I am the slow traveler that’s lost or… ?
It’s true that I have no desires
For each word have left their meaning far behind
I want this desert to be mine
The rusty tools of happiness for a smile.
Magic In Books
One glance at a book and you hear the voice of another person -perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millenia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs, who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time.
~Carl Sagan
“Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
― G.K. Chesterton
“Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.”
~C.S. Lewis
